Shoya Hybrid Eggplant Seeds produce very long, shiny black fruits topped with purple calyxes. The flesh is prized for its sweet, mild, nutty flavor and lack of bitterness, especially when harvested young. Growth habit from 24 to 36 inches tall with fruits 1-3 inches in diameter and up to 16 inches long.  Best picked at its peak tenderness and flavor when harvested at 8–12 inches long.  Very consistent yielding variety.  Maturity in 55-65 days from transplant.
